The Business Development Group of the Chamber stands ready to assist site selection consultants, businesses, and investors who wish to explore the region’s many assets and economic development incentives.

The primary responsibility of the Business Development Group is the recruitment, retention, and expansion of business and industry in the nine-parish Baton Rouge region. The goal is to create wealth within the region as measured by job creation, payroll, capital investment, and public return on investment.

Gulf Opportunity Zone

The GO Zone Act establishes tax incentives and bond provisions to encourage the rebuilding of local and
