Chamber PAC Makes Endorsements

The Baton Rouge Area Chamber's political action committee, FuturePAC, has endorsed seven candidates for seats on the East Baton Rouge Parish School Board. Endorsements went to Derrick Spell, who is running in District 1; Harold Williams, District 2; Clarence Thornton, District 5; Patricia Haynes Smith, District 6; Noel Hammatt, District 7; Jill Dyason, District 10 and Jay Devall, District 11. FuturePAC says it plans to make endorsements in future school board elections across the metro area. The primary election will be held Sept. 30.
