Academic Distinction Fund
The Academic Distinction Fund works to raise and invest private funds to support innovative actions that lead to academic excellence for students in East Baton Rouge Parish Public Schools. ADF promotes academic achievement for all students, encourages best practices in education, supports teachers in their work and professional growth, and fosters improved teaching and learning in public schools.

Louisiana Board of Elementary and Secondary Education
BESE became the administrative policy-making body for elementary-secondary schools, and in accordance with the Constitution, eight elected members from the eight BESE districts serve on the Board along with three members-at-large appointed by the Governor. The Board sets key education initiatives and strives to provide leadership in setting an education agenda for the continuous improvement of public education as measured by student and school achievement.

Louisiana Resource Center for Educators
The Louisiana Resource Center for Educators (LRCE) is dedicated to supporting innovation in education for students, teachers, administrators, higher education and families. LRCE houses a multi-media lending library of 24,000+ items, which can be searched online. They are a shared resource center for educators in the public, private, parochial, charter, and home school sectors.

Volunteers in Public Schools-East Baton Rouge Parish
The VIPS Mission: To foster student success for every child in East Baton Rouge Parish public schools by building public support for public education.
